3:45 Ffos Las 2YO Racing Tips (20th Sept) FELINFOEL BREWERY MAIDEN FILLIES´ STAKES (Plus 10 Race) (CLASS 5) (2yo)

A Maiden Fillies' Stakes over 7f 80y on good to soft going. Raphe Beckett has been in good form with his two-year-olds and jockey Fran Berry as professional as ever. It pays to have a long memory - like an elephant -because so many things in racing are quickly forgotten and that is particularly true of race entries. Here's a question. Can you remember the two-year-olds entered for the Convivial Maiden Stakes at York? The most impressive prize money for any maiden race. I doubt you can.

I had a conversation with a reader who told me that all this entry chatter is all so easy to find and understand. It's not rocket science!

I never said it was. However, here's the rub...can anyone tell me which unraced horses were entered for the Convivial? What do you think? Surprise, surprise...I can. Because it's my job to know these things. I love all these people who think they know so much and when it comes to me asking them a question know... very little at all about two-year-old horse racing. I'm all for a touch of logic. If someone knows better. Good luck. I love to see people succeed in life and I do my very best to make that happen. Why? Because I'm content in what I know.

Isabel De Urbina was entered for the Convivial for Raphe Beckett. Now, this doesn't mean it's a guaranteed winner. But it's a bloody good sign it does. This Irish-bred bay filly is a daughter of Lope De Vega is out of a winning mare who race predominantly at listed class. Interesting this homebred from Mariebelle Irish Farm Limited was sent through the sales ring as a yearling bought in by the vendor for 145,000G. We will see if knowledge is power. But if I knew something which most didn't it's good reason to come back for more insightful news about the best two-year-olds in training.

Knowledge is power!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1st
