2:20 Windsor Racing Tips (3rd Oct) BRITISH STALLION STUDS EBF MAIDEN STAKES (Div I) (CLASS 5) (2yo)

An EBF Maiden Stakes Division I over 1 m 67y on good to soft going. Eleven two-year-olds take part: seven with race experience and four debutantes.

Quiet interested in Ed Walker's horse named Glorious Forever. This chestnut colt is an American-bred son of Archipenko who cost 110,000G when purchased at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales 2015. Bred by Miss K Rausing this February foal ran well on debut at Redcar over 7f when priced 12/1 after drifting quite markedly from an opening price of 8/1. Thomas Brown rode on debut while George Baker takes charge today. This step up in distance will be positive. He was ring rusty on his racecourse bow and I would think connections thought that he needed the race if not the extra distance displayed in this second start. However, this chestnut colt ran on with promise after being pushed along but finished fourth. We follow all two-year-old entries and this horse registered with us some time before heading to Redcar. He is definitely one of the better juveniles in the stable which has a fair horse in Ultimate Avenue who wasn't disgraced in the Tattersall Stakes Group 3. I am writing this post using tissue prices so we will have to see what the market details. If available at each-way prices is worthy of an interest.
