Wednesday's Racing Tips

Just a few pointers:

1:10 Lingfield -

Ed Walker's Hermeneutics didn't achieve a great deal on debut when second from last at Wolverhampton over 7f. This bay gelding is a son of Scat Daddy, purchased at the Keeneland 2015 September Yearling Sales by Norman Williamson for $150,000. It was then bought at the breeze-up sales aged two for 270,000G. By all accounts, that was a significant purchase. Now in the ownership of P K Siu, I would imagine connections are expecting something better. This three-year-old is priced 16/1 due to a poor first effort. If the money comes for this horse, there may be some hope today. He could, perhaps, be worth an anticipatory wager with the hope he will be substantially backed. It may be more prudent to see if he is backed to 13/2 & less SP rather than sit there grinding your teeth. If fancied to win, I would expect this horse to be priced 13/2 & less SP.

1:35 Newcastle -

Spiritofhayton was a relatively cheap purchase 29,000E. The betting is key. If priced about the 10/1 mark is worthy of an each-way interest.
