He must have been a touch weak or slow to come to hand to make his appearance now. However, it is encouraging to see this February foal at this time. It suggests to me he will be firing on all cylinders. A prime draw is good if starting on terms. The only downside is a relatively short price. Over one mile there may be plenty of time to find his feet if a little ring rusty. This turning track ca be hard work.

Chris Wall isn't known for debut winners although, like most trainers, can go well with a talented horse. I would imagine this January foal will be fit and ready. However, I would keep an eye on the betting. It would be a plus if backed, alternatively, it may be a negative if very weak in the market.
