Wednesday's Racing Tips

Limited time, so I will keep this brief.

These horses are noted simply because they have been detailed by www.grouphorse.co.uk

12:45 Wolverhampton -

Diamond Pursuit is a limited filly who finds herself in this 0-65 rated handicap. At least Jo Hughes daughter of Pastoral Pursuits has won this season. A slight drop in class should help at fair odds 8-1. May hit the frame.

1st 9/1

1:15 Wolverhampton -

A big field. Thirteen two-year-olds take part with a mix of talented trainers. A couple of debutantes head the betting: Calypso Blue & Monteja. West Palm Beach won last time out, taking time to get going, and will appreciate this stiffer test of stamina although has to defy a winner's penalty. Dance Me has been running creditably for Sylvester Kirk. She is progressing with racing and in the top juveniles for the stable although no superstar. It one or two of the debutantes disappoints could well hit the frame.

NR: Dance Me, Monteja.

3:55 Wolverhampton -

We're almost dropping off the edge of the world at this grade. A lowly 0-60 rated handicap for two-year-olds. Brian Ellison is a determined trainer and he must feel as though he has earned his money with Skyva. This bay gelding hasn't achieved a great deal but ran on with some encouragement last time out when backed over 5f. This son of Dick Turpin remains on an OR of 59 and apprentice Ben Robinson keeps the ride with his handy 5lb allowance. A low draw may see this horse sit with the lead rather than playing catch up. Skyva doesn't remind me of the type to do anything easy but at 5-1 has a good chance of hitting the frame as ever.

1st 5/1

I may have one statistical horse for tomorrow which I will update in the morning.

4:40 Kempton - Desert Doctor (from a statistical point of view this horse has strong claims)

1st 4/1

And that's why we know what we are doing.
