2:15 Catterick - Mere Brow may have fair each-way claims at 11/2 for this novice stakes. Ann Duffield's charge ran creditably over 5f on debut and this step up to 7f suggests to me a big run is expected and marked improvement.
2:30 Salisbury - Plant Pot Power has recently been entered for a Listed race which indicates Richard Hannon's son of Lawman has strong claims. Not much of a price at 11/10 but respected. Galactic Prince could be worth an each-way bet but keep an eye on the betting. Andrew Balding does well at this course and this two-year-old was relatively fancied to go well. If priced 10/1 & less SP could hold value but if weak in the market best watched.
