A Selling Stakes over 7f 32y on Standard going.
Eight three-year-olds take part. Plenty of these horses have been plying their trade with very little success. Three have tasted victory. To be fair, this isn't a race type I would be confident at all.
Stan Moore is a decent trainer who does well with a good number of limited horses. Joyful Dream is an American-bred daughter of Dream Ahead out of a poor mare. This small filly cost just 9,000E when purchased at two. She's had thirteen races without quite getting her head in front. It isn't the foundation for a win but I do feel this three-year-old will taste victory at some point. I actually had a small bet on this February foal one debut when 100/1. She was about 200/1 on the exchanges. Joyful Dream wasn't beaten far by likely favourite Peachy Carnehan last time out.I wonder with the apprentice on board if connections will grasp the nettle and try to gain an easy lead and hang on to grim death at the line.
If priced about 10/1, there may be a chance of hitting the frame and finger's crossed for more. I won't be betting but watching with interest.
